PA University Seeks Bids for Room Repairs

The California University of Pennsylvania is seeking bids for various services to a room in its Dixon Hall building. This university has been in operation since 1852.

Bids are due for this project on Jan. 13.

Scope of Work:

This project involves the services to one room in the Dixon Hall building at the California University of Pennsylvania.

All interior gypsum board surfaces will be coated using a three-coat system consisting of two coats primer and one coat of acrylic finish. Gypsum board and plaster surfaces will be coated using a three-coat system that consists of two coats of primer and one coat of an epoxy finish.

Any interior wood surface will be coated using a three-coat system that consists of various finishes. Metal surfaces in this project will be coated using a three-coat system that consists of two finish coats and one coat of acrylic enamel. Finally, all concrete surfaces will be coated using a three-coat system consisting of semi-gloss acrylic enamel and two finish coats over filler.

Approved coating manufacturers for this project are Benjamin Moore, PPG and Sherwin-Williams.
