2-Tank Coating Project in TX Out for Bid

The City of Colleyville is currently seeking contractors to rehabilitate and coat the Bransford Road and McPherson water storage tanks located in Colleyville, Texas.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Oct. 8.

Bids are due Oct. 29.

Scope of Work

This project involves rehabilitating and recoating two existing 1-million-gallon elevated water storage tanks.

The City of Colleyville is currently seeking contractors to rehabilitate and coat the Bransford Road and McPherson water storage tanks in Colleyville, Texas.

Contractors will abrasive blast-clean the interior tank surfaces of both tanks to Near White Standards (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2). The interior surfaces will be coated with a zinc-epoxy system.

The exterior surfaces of the Bransford tank will be abrasive blast-cleaned to Commercial Standards (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3). The exterior surfaces will be coated with a three-coat zinc-urethane-fluoropolymer system.

The owner approved coating manufacturers include: Tnemec, Sherwin-Williams, Carboline, PPG or an approved equal.
