The Central Carolina Technical College is seeking contractors to perform interior painting at the F.E. DuBose Career Center in Manning, South Carolina.

Bids are due for this project by May 17.
Scope of Work
The awarded contractor will clean and coat interior surfaces of selected hallways and rooms throughout the career center. The contractor is responsible for the preparation, patching and cleaning of surfaces scheduled to receive coatings applications.
Once prepped, the contractor will coat specified masonry walls with an oil-based primer and a pre-catalyzed epoxy finish. Drywall in stated hallways are to be coated with two coats of a pre-catalyzed epoxy and optional oil-based primers if necessary. In addition, the contractor must also coat all columns located in the main hallway. All metal door frames are to be painted with an oil-based primer and a semi-gloss topcoat. The contractor is also responsible for the coating of chair rails with a two-part epoxy system.
The contractor is required to provide a paint warranty that will cover any peeling, blistering and/or chipping of the new paint film after application that can be attributed to defective paint or workmanship. The contractor will repair any coated surface found to be defective for a period of one year from the completion date.
This project has been scheduled to start on June 11 and be completed by June 22.
