The City of Rancho Santa Margarita is seeking contractors for the interior painting and exterior wood trim staining and sealing for the City Hall and Bell Tower Regional Community Center in Rancho Santa Margarita, California.

The cost estimate for this project is $98,000. Bids are due May 7.
Scope of Work
The awarded contractor will be responsible for various interior renovations including the cleaning and coating of the walls and ceilings in the City Hall ballroom and the walls of the restrooms, fitness center, arts and crafts room and the lobby/hallway. In addition, the contractor will also be responsible for the cleaning and staining of the building’s exterior wood trim, posts and beams.
When completing the interior scope of work, the contractor is advised to clean by methods of power-washing where possible to remove all previous damaged or flaky coatings and caulking areas as needed. Once all surfaces have been properly prepared, an interior drywall coating and prime coat may be applied by spraying, roll-on or brushing by hand.
Exterior wood surfaces are also to be pressure-washed until all residue or damaged staining has been removed. The contractor will then apply an oil-based semi-transparent stain and sealant to all wood trim, posts and beams.
This project is expected to be completed within 25 working days after the official Notice to Proceed has been issued.
Owner-approved brand is Sherwin-Williams, or an approved equal.
